Nancy is an experienced and respected pharma, biotech and foundation attorney. She brings executive experience working with philanthropic, government, commercial and academic organizations. Her operations experience includes managing finance, grants, communications, IT, HR and legal functions.
Extensive multi-institution and international negotiation experience including highest level roles at Chiron, Novartis, the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine and the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation. Nancy has been instrumental in the development of Ophirex corporate and legal strategy, including its 2017 conversion to a Public Benefit Corporation with the help of law firm Morrison & Forster.
Roles at ChironCorporation and Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics, Inc. 1995- 2006 including roles as VP, Deputy General Counsel (2005) VP, Associate General Counsel (2003) and Chief Litigation Counsel (1996). In this role, she directed worldwide litigation involving intellectual property, securities, contract, competition and employment law with emphasis on complex litigation, commercial and securities matters.
